Thanks for stopping by today.
Today we’ll do some fun practice to help reinforce our verbs in this group of e- i and get them more active in our speech.
It’s a small group of irregular verbs, but it’s a good one! Lots of high frequency verbs in this group.
1.
Here’s the list from yesterday as a refresher:
conseguir*
seguir*
decir*
medir
pedir
repetir
servir
reír
sonreír

The ‘Yo’ form for conseguir, seguir and decir are: yo consigo, yo sigo, yo digo

Match the noun to the verb
a. un pedido = an order
Quiero una hamburguesa y un pedido de las papas fritas, por favor.
b. un dicho = a saying
Bon voyage es un dicho francés y buen viaje es un dicho español.
c. una sonrisa = a smile
Ella tiene una sonrisa muy bonita.
d. sonriente = smiley, smiling
Ana es muy sonriente (she always has a smile).
e. risas = laughter
Oigo las risas de tu amigo
f. siguiente = next
When waiting in line you may hear the next available cashier call out ‘siguiente‘.

Say the following aloud several times

d. No comprendo, repítelo, por favor.
e. Necesitamos seguir las instrucciones.
