Es lunes, un día laboral – It’s Monday (yay!) a work day.
Review Post: 3/31, 4/6, 4/13, & 4/18
I’ve promised you some business Spanish and that we would highlight weekly vocabulary around occupations this year.
We’ve set a good customer service base with the following words and phrases: (review the above posts)
Repaso:
trabajo – work or I work
Tengo una cita. – I have an appointment
¿En qué le puedo ayudar? – How can I help you?
¿En qué le puedo servir? – How can I serve you?
¿Cómo se llama? – What’s your name?
And using this question starter, we can swap out “apellido” and add many other words:
¿Cuál es su apellido? – What’s your last name?
¿Cuál es su número de teléfono? – What’s your phone number?
¿Cuál es su dirección? – What’s your address?
¿Cuál es su código postal? – What’s your zip code?
And an alternative to ¿Cómo se llama? is…
¿Cuál es su nombre? – What’s your name?
We also know how to get a client’s birthday:
¿Cuándo es su cumpleaños?
¿y el año?
Es mil novecientos setenta y ocho (1978)
